Job Description
Bogong is an independent retail business selling specialised outdoor adventure equipment and requires an all around storeperson to work with our team at our Melbourne location

The primary responsibility of the Store person is to receive and manage incoming and existing stock across a primary and secondary storage location. Other responsibilities are:

Marking off large volumes of incoming stock
n
Labelling and arranging stock as specified
n
Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels
n
Utilising inventory management software and updating stock allocations across multiple locations
n
Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting
n
Liaising with suppliers to troubleshoot stock discrepancies
n
Co-ordination with management team to ensure smooth daily operations
n
Picking and packing web orders
n
Pricing and tagging stock for the shop
n
Merchandising product in the shop
n

Previous stock management experience

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
n
An interest in outdoor activities such as hiking or rock climbing would be an advantage and help you fit in with the culture of our store but is not essential to the role
n
