We are looking for a Patent Attorney with a background in electrical or mechanical technologies to join our Sydney team and play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering and technology practice.

What you'll do:
n
Portfolio Management: Prepare and manage patent applications for both Australian innovators and global clients.
n
Strategic Advisory: Provide commercially-minded advice, helping clients navigate what they should do, not just what the law says.
n
Contentious Matters: Apply your technical expertise to high-stakes opposition and validity cases.
n
Relationship Building: Act as a key point of contact for overseas associates and local inventors alike.
n
What we're looking for:
n
Qualified Attorney: Registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney.
n
Technical Foundation: A tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer
Sciences/Engineering.
n
Proactive Mindset: Someone who takes initiative and thrives in a cooperative team environment rather than a silo.
