We are seeking an experienced (preferred but not essential) and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist/assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients. The hours include: Mon- Fri: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Sat: 8:30 am - 1pm/3:30pm

We are a small boutique dental clinic located in Hornsby that offers general, family and cosmetic dentistry. From routine cleanings to more complex procedures including orthodontics and implants, we strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. Our dentists see patients Monday - Saturday.

About You

You will succeed in this role because you:
Have previous dental assistant experience including a Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential)




Have strong customer service skills with an interest in helping people
Have excellent communication and people skills, as well as being organised, proactive and with great time-management skills
Experience with Dental 4 Windows (preferred but not essential) and other computer skills
Excellent verbal and written skills

Your responsibilities will include:
Greet and check-in patients, manage appointment schedules, and handle billing including HICAPS, Medicare claims & NSW health voucher claims
Assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, infection control and sterilize instruments.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.

Job Type: Casual Pay: $22.00 – $36.50 per hour
