We are seeking a passionate, experienced and reliable morning educator to join our growing team at My Stars Essendon.

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting a team and creating a positive start to the day for children, families and educators.

About the role:
Early morning start required (exact hours to be discussed during interview)
Support the opening of the service and ensure a smooth morning transition for children and families
Provide guidance and support to educators throughout the morning
Act as a lead educator within the room, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
Complete digital planning, programming, observations, documentation and daily communication using the service’s digital platform
Be confident using digital technology and able to learn and navigate the service’s digital systems effectively
Build robust relationships with children, families and team members
Support daily routines, supervision and compliance requirements
Maintain a clean, protected and welcoming environment, including shared responsibility for routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping and maintaining room and service areas
Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and wider team




Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the service and contribute to a positive team workplace

About you:
Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
Experience as a room leader, lead educator or morning supervisor
Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS and early childhood compliance requirements
Confident supporting and mentoring educators
Passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Reliable, organised and able to take initiative
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Essential requirements:
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
Child Protection and Safety training
All other required early childhood compliance certificates

Pay: $26.67 – $43.69 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
