About us An exciting prospect is available for a motivated and personable Deckhand/Stewardess to assist with the care and operation of a privately owned 90ft luxury motor yacht and its tenders, based at Hillarys Boat Harbour. The yacht is maintained to an exceptional standard and is primarily enjoyed by the owners for entertaining family, friends and business associates.

We are looking for someone who will take genuine pride in the presentation of the vessel. This is a diverse, hands-on role combining deckhand duties, vessel presentation and guest service. It would suit someone who is practical and proactive, has excellent attention to detail and is equally comfortable assisting with the vessels as they are looking after guests.

Previous boating or yachting experience would be highly regarded; however, just as significant to us is finding the right person — someone reliable, trustworthy, discreet and approachable, with a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Qualifications & experience
Current Driver's Licence
Recreational Skipper's Ticket (RST)
Current First Aid Certificate
Previous experience within the boating, marine,



hospitality or luxury service industries would be highly regarded
A strong commitment to presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail
Professional, personable and comfortable interacting with owners and guests
Reliable, flexible and able to work both independently and with the Skipper

Tasks & responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day care, operation and maintenance of the yacht and tenders
Maintain the vessels to an immaculate standard, with particular attention to interior and exterior cleaning and detailing
Prepare the yacht and tenders for departures and ensure they are presented and ready for owners and guests
Provide attentive and professional service to guests when required, including serving food and beverages
Assist with provisioning, stocking and preparation for trips
Where required and under the direction of the licensee, assist with the stocking and service of alcoholic beverages
Perform other duties reasonably required by the Skipper to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the vessels
