About the role

Teck Global is seeking a practical and motivated Carpenter / Tradesperson to join our growing workshop team in Malaga. This is not a typical residential carpentry role. You will be involved in the construction, assembly and fit-out of modular electrical switchrooms and transformer skid packages for industrial and resources-sector projects.

You will have the basic trade skills and practical ability to complete works safely and to a valuable standard, while working under the direction of experienced supervisors and tradespeople.

Key responsibilities
Installation of CFC sheeting and flooring systems
Installation of ResCom/fire-rated wall systems
Internal and external wall sheeting
Structural steel assembly and installation
Installation of framing, supports, brackets and associated components
Silicone sealing, caulking, gapping and finishing works
Doors, flashings, trims and general switchroom fit-out
Mechanical installation and mounting of equipment
Assisting with installation of electrical and mechanical equipment and components
Drilling, fixing, fastening and general assembly works

About you
Trade-qualified in carpentry,



or recently completed their trade
Ideally has 2–4 years of post-trade experience
Confident using hand tools and power tools
Comfortable working with CFC, sheet products, steel framing and general construction materials
Mechanically minded and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
Able to follow drawings, instructions and construction details
Able to complete work efficiently and accurately under direction
Safety conscious and able to maintain a clean and organised work area
Reliable, practical and willing to work as part of a small team
Quality focused with good attention to detail
