Founded in 1997, our client is an established NSW-based labour-hire and recruitment agency specialising in civil and construction industries. It provides temporary, contract and permanent staffing for building projects with fluctuating demands, excelling in candidate vetting, site-safety compliance and full-cycle placement under Australian employment and privacy laws.

Position: Recruitment Consultant

Key responsibilities：

l Deliver specialist recruitment&labour-hire; advisory services for civil and construction industry clients and candidates, covering recruitment and labour hire advisory, including employment conditions and site induction/WHS requirements

l Conduct full‑cycle labour‑hire recruitment: align project briefs, source trade/site candidates, manage job advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks and placement documentation.

l Arrange site safety inductions for placed candidates and conduct post-placement probation follow-up for construction project labour-hire staff .

l Communicate regularly with client project managers and foremen regarding candidate site performance, feedback and workforce placement risks.





l Provide clients with advice on project workforce planning for seasonal peaks and troughs, remuneration benchmarking and position description drafting.

l Maintain candidate database and placement records with full compliance to privacy and employment legislation.

l Provide advice and support to ensure labour hire assignments comply with Fair Work Act, Up-to-date Awards and construction-site work health and safety obligations for labour-hire assignments.

l Prepare recruitment and labour-hire performance reports and workforce analytics to inform internal and client business decisions.

About you

l At least 5 years’ experience as a recruitment consultant.

l Excellent administration, communication and interpersonal skills.

l Confidence and tact in negotiating terms and closing deals.

l A robust drive to achieve targets and deliver against agreed timeframes.

l Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing workplace.

Salary:

$80,000 – $90,000 per annum
