Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat customers, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive table service
Prepare and serve food and beverages, including basic food prep and plating
Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Assist in the kitchen with prep, dishwashing, and basic cooking tasks during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the dining room, kitchen, and bar areas
Restock supplies, set up and close down the restaurant for service
Support bar service (pouring drinks, coffee, etc.) if required
Handle customer questions, requests, and minor complaints with professionalism
Work collaboratively with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures

Required Skills and Experience




Minimum 6 months of previous hospitality experience preferred (café, restaurant, or bar)
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Solid communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and help wherever needed
Basic food handling skills
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Preferred Skills
Barista experience
Bar experience
Wine knowledge

Pay: $32.18 – $33.05 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
