The role

This company has built a SaaS platform trusted by clients across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Bootstrapped and profitable, it operates with the agility of a lean business: decisions are made quickly and without unnecessary layers of approval.< They're after a Business Analyst to join their Internal Systems team. Spanning IT support and internal product development, the team owns the workflows, tools and automations that underpin how the business operates.

In this role, you'll build a deep understanding of how internal teams work today, challenge assumptions where they fall short, and translate your insights into explicit system and automation requirements. Partnering closely with business stakeholders and developers, you'll remain actively involved from analysis through to implementation and UAT.

About you
Solid Business Analyst background with real end-to-end delivery experience: analysis through to build, UAT and review, not just requirements-gathering and handoff
Solid process mapping skills, including BPMN 2.0,



As-Is/To-Be modelling and gap and bottleneck analysis (Lucidchart experience is a plus)
Track record improving and optimising existing systems and features, alongside newer build work
Able to spot automation opportunities by understanding business rules, dependencies and exceptions, and translate them into transparent functional specs and acceptance criteria
Comfortable coordinating UAT end to end, including planning, execution and resolving issues
Confident pushing back on stakeholders and challenging requirements, not just capturing what you're told
Some understanding of system integrations, APIs and data flows is a bonus, as is an IIBA certification or BPMN/Lean/Six Sigma training
