Assistant Venue Manager – MOB Camberwell

MOB Camberwell is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.

We’re looking for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping create a great café experience.

About the role:
Assist the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of MOB Camberwell
Lead and support the team during busy service periods
Ensure consistently high standards of customer service, coffee, food and venue presentation
Train, coach and support team members
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Support rostering, stock control and ordering
Monitor daily operations and help maintain smooth service
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Ensure food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures are followed




Help create a positive and welcoming team culture

About you:
Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality management/supervisory role
Confident leading and inspiring a team
Robust communication and organisational skills
Customer-focused with a hands-on approach
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a quick-paced environment
High attention to detail and presentation
Flexible availability, including weekends
Barista experience is highly regarded
