Assistant Venue Manager – Pantry Glen Iris

Pantry Glen Iris is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.

We’re looking for a hands-on hospitality professional who can support the Venue Manager, lead the team and help deliver an outstanding customer experience in a busy café environment.

About the role:
Assist the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of Pantry Glen Iris
Lead, support and motivate the team during service
Maintain high standards of customer service, food, coffee and venue presentation
Train and support team members
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Support rostering, stock control and ordering
Help ensure smooth and effective daily operations
Manage customer enquiries and feedback professionally
Ensure health, safety,



food safety and operational standards are maintained
Help build and maintain a positive team culture

About you:
Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality supervisory/management role
Robust leadership and communication skills
Confident working in a quick-paced workplace
Customer-focused and hands-on
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Reliable, positive and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including weekends
Barista experience is highly regarded
