About the role

Dongara Marine are looking for a friendly, organised, and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk & Payroll Officer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Key responsibilities

Payroll Administration
Review and approve employee timesheets
Process weekly payroll
Maintain accurate employee records
Respond to payroll enquiries and ensure payroll compliance with legislative requirements
Maintain confidentiality of payroll, financial, and employee records

Accounts Administration
Process and enter supplier invoices into the project management/accounting system
Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Manage petty cash, including reconciliation and data entry into MYOB
Process and coordinate Boat Slip Requests and maintain associated records
Support general administration and finance functions as required

About you
Previous experience in payroll, accounts payable,



or an accounts clerk role
Experience using MYOB
Strong data entry and reconciliation skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Understanding of payroll legislation and financial administration processes
Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
