JIN GUK is a modern Korean Gomtang Bar that reinterprets traditional Korean cuisine in a contemporary dining setting.

At the heart of JIN GUK is Gomtang, a traditional Korean soup known for its rich, slow-cooked broth and comforting flavours. We aim to bring this traditional dish into a contemporary dining experience through an open kitchen, live cooking and a carefully curated menu.

Located in Macquarie Park, JIN GUK will offer guests an approachable yet elevated Korean dining experience, combining traditional flavours with a modern atmosphere and attentive service.

As a new concept and brand, we are looking for passionate team members who want to be part of the opening team and help build JIN GUK from the very beginning.

$75,000+ + Super + Entitlements

Key Responsibilities
Support the Manager with daily kitchen operations
Supervise Kitchen Staff during service
Allocate tasks and ensure a smooth workflow within the kitchen
Maintain food quality and portion control
Ensure recipes, preparation methods and kitchen procedures are followed




Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
Monitor stock levels and preparation requirements
Support efficient kitchen operations during service
Communicate effectively with the FOH team
Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
Support overall kitchen operations in the Manager's absence
