Hands-On TIG & MIG Welding Role
$40 to $45ph pending on skills.
A fantastic opportunity exists to join a well-established and highly respected sheetmetal fabrication business in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking ahands‐on Team Leaderto guide a small team of production welders in a clean, modern, and fast-paced workshop environment.
This is a practical, on‐the‐tools leadership role where you will lead by example, support your team, and ensure production goals are met with strong quality standards.
Flexibility is essential, as the work varies daily, and the team works together across multiple fabrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support and mentor a small team of TIG & MIG production welders
Perform hands‐on welding and fabrication duties
Ensure production targets are met and quality standards maintained




Assist with workflow coordination and task allocation
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop
Contribute to continuous improvement and team efficiency

Skills and Experience
Strong TIG & MIG welding experience (essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Background in sheetmetal fabrication or similar environment
