We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yardman / General Labourer to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping a workplace organised and is happy to pitch in wherever needed. We are a busy equipment-hire business, and the role involves preparing equipment for hire, assisting customers, maintaining the yard and completing general labouring duties.

Key responsibilities
Clean, inspect and prepare equipment before and after hire
Load and unload equipment, materials and deliveries safely
Assist customers with equipment collection and returns
Keep the yard, storage areas and workshop clean, organised and secure
Carry out general yard duties and basic labouring tasks
Help maintain equipment presentation and report any damage or maintenance requirements
Work closely with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly

About you
Reliable, punctual and willing to work
Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
Able to follow safety procedures and work carefully around equipment
Organised,



practical and able to use initiative
Friendly and qualified when dealing with customers
Works well both independently and as part of a team

Essential requirements
Current Australian car driver’s licence
Full working rights in Australia
Current forklift licence, desirable, but not essential
Current MR or HR licence, desirable, but not essential
Previous experience in an equipment-hire yard, construction, landscaping, warehousing, transport or general labouring role would be desirable
Basic mechanical or equipment knowledge desirbale
Experience is helpful, but we are also happy to hear from people with the right attitude who are willing to learn.
