Yard Manager – Scaffolding Industry

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our scaffolding yard. This role is suited to someone with solid scaffolding knowledge who can confidently manage equipment, inventory, and logistics while maintaining a protected and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Packing and unpacking scaffolding equipment
Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely
Managing yard organisation and ensuring equipment is stored correctly
Preparing and sending gear lists for upcoming jobs
Tracking inventory, stock levels, and equipment movements
Maintaining accurate records and updating systems
Communicating with teams, clients, and suppliers via email and computer systems
Assisting with general yard operations and ensuring equipment is ready for dispatch

Requirements:




Must have scaffolding industry experience
Current White Card
Current Forklift Licence
Confident using computers, emails, and inventory systems
Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Reliable, safety-focused, and physically fit for a hands-on role

PPE Requirements:
Full PPE required at all times, including appropriate safety footwear, hi-vis clothing, and other required safety equipment.
