We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Part-Time Pool Lifeguard to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about water safety and committed to providing a secure and enjoyable environment for all patrons. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism at our aquatic facility.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all aquatic activities to ensure the safety and well-being of swimmers and facility users
Monitor pool areas vigilantly and respond promptly to any emergency situations
Enforce facility rules and regulations in a courteous and qualified manner
Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR when required
Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area, equipment, and surrounding facilities
Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and daily pool conditions
Assist with the setup and pack-down of pool equipment as required
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and visitors
Collaborate effectively with team members and facility management
Participate in regular training sessions and drills to maintain competency

Requirements




Current and valid Pool Lifeguard qualification or equivalent certification
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong swimming ability and physical fitness
Excellent observation and situational awareness skills
Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour
Availability to work flexible part time hours, including weekends and public holidays
Working with Children Check or equivalent clearance (or willingness to obtain)
