The Roles

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Operators - Tilt Tray Operators, Loader Operators, Excavator Operators, Telehandler Operators and Concrete Pump Operators for a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.

Depending on your experience and qualifications, your duties may include:
Operating plant and equipment to support underground construction activities
Loading, moving and positioning materials, equipment and components
Operating tilt trays to transport equipment and materials
Completing excavation and earthmoving work
Operating telehandlers to move and place materials
Operating concrete pumps to support underground pours
Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks




Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements
Working safely with supervisors, trades and construction crews in accordance with site procedures

About You
Previous experience operating tilt trays, loaders, excavators, telehandlers or concrete pumps
Underground mining or construction experience
Relevant licences, tickets and machinery competencies for your role
Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment faults
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solid commitment to safety and quality
Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
