Our client is seeking an experienced WHS Case Manager to join their People, Capability and Engagement team in Canberra. This prospect will see you play a key role in managing workplace health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation cases while supporting a culture of safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Working closely with employees, managers, rehabilitation providers and external stakeholders, you will help deliver positive return-to-work outcomes and contribute to the wellbeing of a diverse workforce.

The Opportunity

As the APS6 WHS Case Manager, you will:
Manage work health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation matters.
Coordinate return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans.
Provide specialist WHS and wellbeing advice to employees and managers.
Support the delivery of workplace wellbeing and safety initiatives.
Conduct incident reporting, investigations and workplace risk assessments.
Contribute to WHS governance, reporting and compliance activities.
Liaise with health practitioners, rehabilitation providers, Comcare and other stakeholders.




Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen workplace safety outcomes.

About You
Experience in work health and safety, injury management, rehabilitation, return-to-work or a related discipline.
Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
The ability to manage complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and discretion.
Sound judgement and the ability to deliver practical, risk-based advice.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A commitment to high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419).

Highly Regarded
Knowledge of the Comcare framework.
Experience in rehabilitation case management.
Return-to-work coordination experience.
Exposure to workplace wellbeing programs and initiatives.
