About the role

Join the Europe Imports team as a Warehouse Assistant in a permanent full time position. This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting of natural stone tiles, pavers and other products. You will pick, prepare and securely pack customer orders, load and unload trucks and containers, operate a forklift safely, organise stock and maintain an efficient warehouse, check batch codes and identify stock discrepancies and product batch differences, assist with general warehouse duties as required, work closely with sales and operations teams, follow all workplace health and safety procedures, and develop a strong knowledge of products and warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities
Pick, prepare and securely pack customer orders
Load and unload trucks and containers
Operate a forklift safely
Organise stock and maintain an efficient warehouse
Check batch codes and identify stock discrepancies and product batch differences
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Work closely with sales and operations teams
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures




Develop a strong knowledge of products and warehouse processes

About you
Current forklift licence
Reliable, punctual and consistent
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Able to accurately identify batch codes, stock discrepancies and differences between product batches
Physically capable of regular manual handling and heavy lifting
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Pride in preparing orders accurately and professionally
Robust commitment to workplace safety
Previous warehouse or forklift experience is preferred
