Leathwood is a growing commercial landscaping and maintenance business behind some of Australia's most recognisable landmark spaces, from NINE by Mirvac and Parramatta Square to Star Casino Queens Wharf and the Sydney Fish Markets. We work with national developers and tier 1 real estate clients to keep their commercial landscapes looking as positive as the day they were built, and we're growing our landscape maintenance team across NSW and QLD.

We're currently looking for people to join us as a Trades Assistant or as a Landscape Maintenance Apprentice, depending on where you're at in your career. Either way, you'll be working alongside experienced horticulturalists across a diverse range of commercial contracts, from corporate precincts to parks and public spaces.

Trades Assistant is a permanent full time role for someone who's ready to get stuck into hands on labouring work: mowing, edging, planting and general site support, under the direction of a Maintenance Supervisor or Team Leader.

Maintenance Apprentice is the pathway for someone starting out, working towards a Certificate III in Landscape Management through a registered training organisation, with structured mentoring and on the job learning from day one.

What you'll be doing
Routine garden and landscape maintenance, including mowing,



edging, weeding, pruning, hedging and mulching
Supporting planting, fertilising, watering and general garden establishment
Maintaining hard surfaces and keeping client sites clean, tidy and well presented
Safely using and caring for hand tools, power tools and garden equipment
Following site safety procedures, SWMS and Leathwood's WHS policies at all times

What you'll bring
A genuine interest in landscaping, horticulture or outdoor work
A robust work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude
Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Willingness to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
A current driver's licence and White Card are a plus, but not essential to apply
