Assistant Restaurant Manager — For Someone Who Still Loves Hospitality

We're looking for a Assistant Restaurant Manager for one of our busy Italian venues in Melbourne!

Most people lean too heavily into one, and we're looking for someone who can connect all three properly.

Anyone can teach service steps. What matters more is teaching instinct, awareness and passion for hospitality. Helping a team learn how to read a room, support each other during pressure and genuinely care about the guest experience.

This role is for someone who can lead from the front, build a strong team culture and create a venue that feels warm, organised and energetic,



while still driving performance and maintaining standards.

We're looking for someone who can embody the vision and standards of the business, while also bringing the team with them.

The role includes:

* leading daily service
n
* training and developing staff in collaboration with management
n
* building team culture and accountability
n
* labour management and roster assistance
n
* maintaining service standards
n
* working closely with the kitchen and senior management teams
n
* helping drive venue performance and consistency
n
n
Our venues are built around Italian food culture, ingredient quality and old-school hospitality values, backed by up-to-date systems and high standards.

Experience managing busy venues is important, but leadership, awareness and attitude matter just as much.
