Job Description
A leading real estate manager and developer with a national portfolio across industrial, logistics, business park and office assets is looking for a Development Analyst to join a small, high performing development finance team.

About the role

Working alongside the development managers to support them with feasibility management, supporting feasibility analysis and reporting across the development pipeline
n
n
Manage cash flow modelling and scenario analysis, stepping in when models get complex
n
Build and enhance Excel financial models and reporting tools
n
Analyse potential developments, expansions and divestments
n
Bring AI assisted tools into feasibility modelling and reporting to cut manual work
n
Partner closely with development managers, finance and senior leadership, and push back on assumptions when the numbers do not stack up
n

About you
n
Essential
n
n
Development analyst experience in property or real estate
n




Advanced Excel skills, comfortable building models from scratch
n
Confident communicator who can explain the numbers and hold their ground
n
Strong financial aptitude and commercial acumen
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Degree in Property Economics or Finance
n
Yardi experience, or comparable systems such as MRI, Cougar or ARGUS would be advantageous but not essential
n
Excellent with Excel
n
A solid understanding of development and the assumptions
n
n
