About the chance
Our programs are designed to support whilst making the transition from student to Registered Midwife within a supportive and welcoming environment. The aim is to promote educational opportunities to graduates as you consolidate your theoretical and clinical skills. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, and debriefing sessions which are supported by a dedicated learning team. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be presented with a certificate of completion.

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Letter of application stating preferred hospital location, areas of clinical interest, preferred rotations, rationale for choice and future career plans
Two page Curriculum vitae, relevant experience and clinical rotations
Certified copy of academic transcripts to date (including 'key to results')
Two recent and certified acute summative clinical appraisals
Two Clinical References
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining
Registration as a Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
