Have you always wanted to become a tattoo artist but don't know where to start?

Addikted to Ink is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our 9-month tattoo apprenticeship program, designed to help aspiring artists develop the skills, discipline and experience needed to build a career in the tattoo industry.

The program combines studio experience, mentorship, artistic development and practical training, with a strong focus on black & grey realism.

You'll begin by learning the foundations of working in a professional tattoo studio before progressively developing your drawing, design and tattooing skills as you move through the program.

About the Apprenticeship
9-month structured apprenticeship
3 days per week — Monday to Wednesday OR Thursday to Saturday




Unpaid — apprentices do not receive compensation during the program
No joining fees or costs to participate
Hands-on experience in a professional tattoo studio
Mentorship and structured artistic development
Robust focus on black & grey realism
Opportunity to develop your artwork, portfolio and online presence
Potential pathway into one of our Melbourne studios after successfully completing the program

We don't expect you to be a finished artist when you start. The apprenticeship is designed to help you build your skills progressively, while learning what it takes to work professionally in the tattoo industry. Before joining the full program, you'll complete a 2-week trial. This gives you the prospect to experience the studio environment and understand what's involved, while allowing our team to see if you're the right fit.
