We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Fitter for a full‑time permanent position based in Clayton South within a leading food manufacturing facility.

Maintenance Fitter – The Role
Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and utility machinery.
Carry out rapid fault‑finding and repairs to minimise facility downtime.
Conduct root‑cause analysis on equipment breakdowns to prevent repeat issues.
Log work orders and maintenance records using CMMS software (MEX / Fiix).
Work safely while adhering to site health, safety, and food safety standards.

Hours & Location
Location: Clayton South
Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 6am - 2pm
Pay Rate: $50-$55 p/h + super + overtime penalties

What You Need
Trade Qualification:



Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
Technical Skills: Robust diagnostic/fault‑finding skills; experience using CMMS systems like MEX or Fiix is highly regarded.
Mindset: Safety‑focused, dependable, and detail‑oriented.
