Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver engaging, structured and industry-relevant training and assessment.
n
Facilitate classroom-based training in accordance with the approved training and assessment strategies.
n
Develop a positive and supportive learning environment.
n
Assess student competency in accordance with assessment requirements and organisational procedures.
n
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, assessment outcomes and participation.
n
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
n




Identify and support individual student learning needs.
n
Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competence.
n
Participate in professional development and continuous improvement activities.
n
Ensure training and assessment is delivered in accordance with ASQA requirements and the Standards for RTOs ****.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
Relevant industry qualifications and experience in Community Services and/or Ageing Support.
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or an equivalent current training and assessment credential.
n
Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing vocational education and training.
n
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
n
Current industry knowledge and evidence of ongoing professional development.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional training team.
n
Understanding of competency-based training and assessment principles.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience delivering CHC***** Diploma of Community Services.
n
Experience delivering CHC***** Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
n
Previous experience working with domestic and/or international students.
n
Knowledge of RTO compliance and the Standards for RTOs ****.
n
n
