Manpower is currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join a busy catering and hospitality team based at a major Defence site in Puckapunyal. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment supporting daily food service operations.

About the Role
n
You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment.
n
Roster & Hours
n
n
Monday to Sunday availability required
n
Typical start time around 10:00am
n
Approximately 7.5-hour shifts
n
Shift times may vary based on operational requirements
n
Flexibility across all days is essential
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash dishes, utensils, and equipment
n
Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks
n
Receive, unpack, and store deliveries safely and efficiently
n
Support the kitchen team with daily operational duties
n




Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar hospitality role
n
Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends
n
Strong work ethic and reliability
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
n
A team-focused attitude
n
n
Due to the nature of the site, applicants must:

Be an Australian Citizen
n
Hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transport
n
Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
n
Be able to pass any required pre-employment screening
n
