Golden Hills Brewery is a brewery and eatery located in Diamond Creek, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We're focused on serving great food and craft beer to our local community and beyond.

We're currently looking for passionate and motivated Cooks/Chefs to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time opportunities for the right candidate.
n
The Role
n
We're seeking a skilled and driven Chef with solid technical cooking skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. You'll work closely with our Head Chef and management team to consistently deliver high-quality meals that reflect our brand and standards.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes including grills, pizzas, burgers, share plates, and seasonal specials
n
Run key kitchen sections such as grill, fryers, and pass
n
Maintain high standards in food hygiene, presentation, and portion control
n
Contribute to menu development and implementation of seasonal specials
n




Manage stock levels including ordering, receiving, rotation, and stocktakes
n
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
n
Ensure compliance with OH&S; and food safety standards
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
n
At least 2–3 years' experience in a busy commercial kitchen
n
Strong skills across grill, fryer, and pizza sections
n
Experience managing kitchen operations and supervising staff
n
Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
