About the role
Cancer is a complex set of diseases to diagnose and treat; it represents a significant burden to patients and their families. Eastern Health's Cancer Services place patients first and work together to include them in treatment discussions and options, empowering them to take control of their health.
Eastern Health covers the largest geographical health region across Melbourne. Due to this, we have clinics throughout our primary catchment specialising in cancer diagnosis, management and treatment.
Our specialised cancer clinics and units have highly trained and dedicated staff. We aim to provide the best in cancer care to our patients.
What you'll bring
As an Oncology/Haematology Registered Nurse, your skills and experience will include:
Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA
Previous experience working in cancer services
Availability to work a range of different shifts
Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing patient focused care
Active engagement in continued skilled and career development
