Serious PRO Pty Ltd is a professional carpentry and construction services company based in Sydney, providing a wide range of high-quality carpentry solutions to residential and commercial clients. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of carpentry and construction activities while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
n
Ordering and selecting appropriate timbers and materials, and preparing layouts for carpentry projects.
n
Measuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts.
n
Erecting house framework, panelised systems and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying the trueness of structures.
n
Constructing and installing timber decks, pergolas, carports,



garages and other external timber structures.
n
Fitting and installing window and door frames, doors, windows and other timber fixtures.
n
Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs and fitting exterior wall cladding.
n
Assembling prepared wood to form structures, internal fit-outs, joinery and other fittings ready for installation.
n
Constructing and installing fencing, balustrading and other timber structures.
n
Cutting and forming wood joints and carrying out general joinery work.
n
Installing and repairing timber flooring and other internal timber finishes.
n
Carrying out carpentry work for renovations, extensions and heritage projects, ensuring existing structures and finishes are appropriately maintained.
n
May repair, replace and maintain existing timber fittings, doors, windows, flooring and other carpentry structures.

Experience and skills
n
n
Relevant Qualifications.
n
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
n
Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools and specialised carpentry equipment.
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within large commercial project teams.
n
n
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
