Palmwoods Veterinary Clinic – Palmwoods QLD

This is a casual position ****** hours per week) with shifts available Monday–Saturday, offering flexibility to suit the right applicant. You will be involved in a broad range of veterinary nursing duties across small and large animal patients.

Key responsibilities

Assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures
n
Surgical and dental nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
n
Animal handling and restraint
n
Pathology and laboratory work
n
Radiography
n
Medication preparation and administration
n
Maintaining a clean and organized clinical workplace
n
Client communication and education
n
General day-to-day veterinary nursing duties
n

About you
n
n
Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
n




Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
n
Confident handling animals for veterinary treatment
n
Can communicate well with staff and clients
n
Reliable, organized and able to work independently
n
Can manage time and prioritise tasks well
n
Works well as part of a close-knit team
n
Positive and professional attitude
n
Compassionate towards both patients and their owners
n
Willing to get involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing and day to day clinic tasks
