We're seeking a passionate Treatment Facilitator to join our team at Wyla Residential Withdrawal and Rehabilitation Service in Orange.
n
Wyla provides live-in withdrawal and rehabilitation support for adults based at the Bloomfield Hospital Campus just outside Orange, helping people prepare for recovery beyond their residential stay.
n
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help residents build practical skills, strengthen wellbeing and achieve meaningful recovery outcomes in a supportive and therapeutic residential environment.
n

We are particularly interested in applicants who can support the delivery of men's behaviour change programs and contribute cultural knowledge, lived experience and perspectives that strengthen outcomes for clients and communities.

About the Role
n
As a Treatment Facilitator, you will provide counselling, case management, group facilitation and recovery-focused support to people participating in residential alcohol and other drug treatment.
n
Working closely with residents and the broader clinical team, you'll support individuals throughout their recovery journey, helping them identify goals, develop healthy coping strategies and create lasting positive change.
n
This is a 0.6 FTE position, with preferred working hours of 11:00am to 7:00pm, ideally across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, however flexibility around days is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
n

Deliver assessments, counselling and case management.
n
Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational programs.
n
Develop and review treatment and recovery plans.
n




Support residents to build life skills, resilience and wellbeing.
n
Coordinate referrals and engagement with external services.
n
Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary discussions.
n
Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
n
Contribute to a safe and supportive therapeutic community.
n
Support the delivery of group programs, including men's behaviour change initiatives where appropriate.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Human Services or a related discipline.
n
Experience in counselling, case management or therapeutic support.
n
Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
Experience facilitating groups and delivering structured programs.
n
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
Strong administration and documentation skills.
n
A current Australian Driver Licence.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience in alcohol and other drug services.
n
Experience working within residential treatment or rehabilitation settings.
n
Experience facilitating men's behaviour change programs.
n
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
