Assistance with Daily Living (ADLs), including showering, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
n
Meal preparation and assistance with eating where required
n
Medication prompting and support in accordance with care plans
n
Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining a secure home environment
n
Community access, shopping, appointments, recreational and social activities
n
Transporting participants to appointments and community activities
n
Supporting participants to develop and maintain independent living skills
n
Providing companionship and emotional support
n
Following individual support plans, behaviour support strategies and participant preferences
n
Completing progress notes, incident reports and other required documentation
n
Communicating effectively with participants, families and the broader support team
n
