Surrey Downs Community Children's Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join our 50-place, not-for-profit community service.
n
Working closely with the Director, you will help guide the educational program and practice across the service, while supporting, mentoring and inspiring our team of educators.
n
About the role
n
You will:
n
Work closely with the Director to guide and strengthen educational practice
n
Support and mentor educators in their planning, programming and reflective practice
n
Promote high-quality, child-focused learning experiences
n
Support room leaders and educators to develop their confidence and professional practice
n
Contribute to our QIP and ongoing continuous improvement
n
Help ensure the EYLF is meaningfully embedded across the service
n
Build positive relationships with educators, children and families
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n




Passionate about early childhood education
n
Educational Leader role – previous experience is preferred
n
Confident mentoring and supporting educators
n
Knowledgeable about the EYLF V2.0 and NQS
n
A collaborative, approachable and positive leader
n
Committed to quality practice and continuous improvement
n
