Job Description
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, the Parts Interpreter joins our Geraldton branch full-time, managing customer orders and enquiries with accuracy and strong service focus. The role also supports warehousing tasks, including stock control, picking and packing, inventory checks, and maintaining a safe, organised workspace. This role has a strong focus on customer service, as such we are looking for someone who has a positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail and quality and compliance skills.

Roster: Monday - Friday 9.5 hours (including meal break) including a fortnightly Saturday

Location: Geraldton, WA - Residential position

What you'll do
n
n
Interpret customer part requirements on a wide range of parts for trucks, machinery, construction and mining equipment
n
Source and expedite parts locally and internationally, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment from order through to delivery
n
Manage customer enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, and emails with a solid focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience
n
Support internal departments including the workshop, field service teams
n
Support warehousing tasks including stock control, picking and packing, and inventory checks
n
Escalate issues appropriately and ensure consistent communication to prevent delays or errors
n
Maintain a proactive, dependable approach, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Previous experience in parts interpretation or store roles within the automotive or machinery industry highly advantageous
n




Excellent customer service skills with the ability to confidently manage face-to-face, phone, and email interactions
n
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when sourcing and matching parts
n
Solid organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
n
Advanced computer literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple systems (experience working across various platforms or databases is highly valued)
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to managing customer and internal stakeholder needs
