About the role:
n
Hygain is looking for a fit, active and reliable all-rounder to join our production team in Officer on a full time basis. This hands-on role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly yard environment while operating industrial sweepers and general plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
General yard duties, including waste management and site tidying.
n
Perform daily pre-start checks, basic routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
n
Ensure our farmers waste is wrapped as per company standards.
n
Strapping of recycle pallets.
n
Inverting Damaged Pallets.
n
Safely operate and maintain the industrial sweeper to clean yard, asphalt, and warehouse surfaces.
n
Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
n
Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) policies and procedures.




n
Assist with unloading and loading of trucks.
n
Assist with tipping of raw materials.
n
Assist with unloading and loading local and export containers.
n
Gain a basic understanding of the weighbridge function.
n
Competently operate a truck to complete deliveries as required.
n
Assist the production team as required.
n
n
About you
n
To succeed in the role, you will require:
n
n
Previous experience operating a sweeper, forklift or similar machinery in a yard or production environment.
n
Valid Australian drivers licence and HC licence. A MC licence would be advantageous.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-first work ethic.
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
n
Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as needed.
