Safety Officer / Safety Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer or Safety Administrator to support a site-based operation in the Blackwater/Emerald region.
n
This role would suit someone with previous experience working in a safety or health administration function within mining, resources, construction or another operational workplace.
n
A key requirement of the position is previous experience with site health assessments and Health Management Plans.
n
About the role
n
Working closely with site teams and key stakeholders, you will provide day-to-day support across safety, health and compliance activities.
n
Key Duties
n
n
Coordinating and supporting site health assessments
n
Developing, reviewing and maintaining Health Management Plans
n
Maintaining safety and health documentation and records
n
Supporting site compliance requirements
n
Assisting with safety reporting and administration
n




Monitoring documentation to ensure records remain current and accurate
n
Liaising with site personnel and relevant stakeholders
n
Providing general administrative support to the safety and health function
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience as a Safety Officer, Safety Administrator, HSE Administrator or similar
n
Demonstrated experience with site health assessments
n
Experience working with Health Management Plans
n
Strong administration and document management skills
n
A good understanding of site-based safety and compliance requirements
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
n
Previous mining, resources or construction experience will be highly regarded
n
