Casual Commis Chef | Beverly Rooftop, South Yarra
We're looking for a casual Commis Chef to join the kitchen at Beverly Rooftop.
The venue
We're on Level 24 at 627 Chapel Street with 270-degree views over the city.
The menu puts a Southern Californian spin on modern dining, backed by a responsible cocktail list and a room with real energy.
It's busy, it's fun, and we do big numbers, so you'll learn fast.
What you'll be doing
Prep and service across the sections
Keeping your station clean, organised and ready to go
Following recipes and specs to get every plate right
Working with the team to keep the pass moving on busy services
What we're after
Some experience in a commercial kitchen
Good knife skills and a solid grasp of the basics
Someone who takes direction well and wants to learn
Calm under pressure and happy to get stuck in
Availability across nights and weekends
Cert III in Commercial Cookery or currently studying is a plus
