In this role you'll
Lead the delivery of important infrastructure and capital works projects that directly benefit the community.
Manage projects from planning and design through to procurement, construction, reporting and completion.
Work closely with contractors, consultants, community members, public authorities and internal teams to achieve practical project outcomes.
Apply your project management and technical expertise across roads, civil infrastructure, buildings and public open spaces.
Contribute to continuous improvement by strengthening Council's project delivery practices, standards and long-term infrastructure outcomes.
As the successful candidate, you will bring
Relevant qualifications or substantial experience in civil infrastructure, construction, project management or a related technical field.
Strong experience delivering capital works projects safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
Confidence managing procurement, tendering, contracts, consultants and contractors in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
Sound financial capability, including preparing,



monitoring and reporting on project budgets and capital expenditure.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
