We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic school located near Morwell, in theGippslandregion of Victoria, which is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join its supportive and well-resourced team.
This is afull-time, ongoing positioncommencingASAP.
The successful candidate will teachEnglish across Years 7–12, with the opportunity to teach VCE English depending on experience and the school's timetable.
About the Role As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Years 7–12, fostering students' love of reading, writing and critical thinking.
You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons across Years 7–12
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and critical analysis skills
Create engaging, inclusive and well-managed learning experiences




Assess and report on student progress in line with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements where applicable
Contribute positively to the English faculty and wider school community
Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student success
About You
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
A recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
The ability to teach English across Years 7–12
Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and, ideally, VCE English
A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student wellbeing and achievement
Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills
Visa Sponsorship
Visa sponsorship is available for suitableonshoreapplicants, making this an excellent chance for qualified English teachers already in Australia seeking employer sponsorship.
Full-time permanent English teaching role, Years 7-12
Manageable face-to-face teaching with strong in-class support
