The Opportunity

Reporting into a highly experienced finance leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all tax obligations while supporting tax governance, risk management and business advisory activities.

Key responsibilities include:
End to end preparation and lodgement of corporate income tax, GST and other taxation obligations
Management of withholding tax, PAYG and tax payment processes
Preparation of tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and supporting workpapers
Supporting FBT, FATCA/CRS and other regulatory reporting requirements
Tax data analysis,



reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies across multiple systems
Responding to queries from auditors, external advisors and regulatory bodies
Researching legislative changes and assessing impacts on the business
Providing tax advice on current products, transactions and business initiatives
Supporting transfer pricing, tax governance and broader tax documentation projects

About You
5+ years' experience in a dedicated tax role
Strong knowledge of Australian corporate tax, GST and related tax legislation
Background within financial services, banking or a complex regulated setting is highly regarded
CA, CPA or equivalent skilled qualification preferred
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
Highly organised, detail oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities
