Palmwoods Veterinary Clinic – Palmwoods QLD
This is a casual position ****** hours per week) with shifts available Monday–Saturday, offering flexibility to suit the right applicant.
You will be involved in a broad range of veterinary nursing duties across small and large animal patients.
Key responsibilities
Assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures
Surgical and dental nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
Animal handling and restraint
Pathology and laboratory work
Radiography
Medication preparation and administration
Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
Client communication and education
General day-to-day veterinary nursing duties
About you
Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
Confident handling animals for veterinary treatment
Can communicate well with staff and clients
Reliable, organized and able to work independently
Can manage time and prioritise tasks well
Works well as part of a close-knit team
Positive and skilled attitude
Compassionate towards both patients and their owners
Willing to get involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing and day to day clinic tasks
