You will work with children presenting with a range of developmental, biomechanical and musculoskeletal concerns, while also having theopportunity to build an adult caseloadif this is an area you enjoy.
You'll work alongside Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals, with plenty of opportunity for collaboration and shared goals.

What you'll be doing




Providing assessment and treatment for children with a range of developmental and musculoskeletal presentations
Supporting children withtoe walking, in-toeing, out-toeing and gait concerns
Assessing and managingflat feet, pronation and lower limb biomechanics
Supporting children experiencinggrowing pains, Sever's disease and Osgood-Schlatter disease
Managing sports and activity-related injuries
Providing footwear advice and orthotic management
Helping families understand their child's presentation and treatment options
Working collaboratively with parents, carers and other members of the child's care team
Contributing to a multidisciplinary approach where appropriate
Building and managing an adult caseload, based on your interests and experience
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Is registered withAHPRAand holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance
Has a strong interest inpaediatric podiatry and child development
Genuinely enjoys working with children and families
Is warm, engaging and comfortable communicating with parents and carers
Has an interest in paediatric gait, biomechanics and lower limb development
Is keen to continue developing their clinical skills in paediatrics
Values working collaboratively with other allied health professionals




Is confident working independently while knowing when collaboration is valuable
Brings a practical, family-focused approach to clinical care
