Senior Manager, FP&A; | Financial Services | Sydney The business

The role

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll own FP&A;, reporting and commercial analysis across the group. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where your insights will directly shape decision making at C-suite and board level.

Key responsibilities
Own the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
Lead cashflow forecasting, treasury support and working capital management
Drive budgeting and forecasting, including the shift towards driver-based modelling
Deliver profitability analysis across business units and products
Prepare board and management reporting that turns numbers into transparent, actionable insight
Support financial controls,



governance and process improvement across the planning cycle
Partner with senior stakeholders on modelling, strategic planning and commercial analysis
Champion continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting

About you
CA qualified (or CPA/CIMA equivalent)
FP&A;, commercial finance or management accounting experience within regulated financial services
Solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cashflow and financial reporting
Exposure to regulatory capital or liquidity reporting highly regarded
Confident communicating complex financials to management and board stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills and experience with budgeting/consolidation and cloud accounting platforms
Curious, proactive and detail-driven, with a systematic approach to your work
Comfortable using AI-enabled tools to lift efficiency and reporting quality
