GUARDRAIL & HANG-ON INSTALLERS – TOP PAY

Direct Scaffold Supplies is seeking experienced Guardrail & Hang-On Installers to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on installation role based in Archerfield, QLD, where you'll be responsible for the secure and professional installation of guardrails and hang-on systems across various construction and industrial projects. This position is critical to ensuring workplace safety compliance and delivering high-quality results to our clients. We offer competitive pay rates for experienced installers who can work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities
n
Install guardrails and hang-on systems to Australian Safety Standards and client specifications
n
Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans prior to commencing work
n
Inspect materials and equipment to ensure quality and compliance before installation
n
Follow all health and safety protocols, including working at heights procedures and fall arrest systems
n
Maintain accurate records of installations and complete required documentation
n
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, clients and team members to ensure project timelines are met
n
Identify and report any safety hazards or defects on site
n
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guardrail systems as required
n
Transport and store equipment and materials safely and efficiently
n
What we're looking for
n
Proven experience installing guardrails and/or hang-on systems in the building trades or construction industry
n
Valid Working at Heights qualification or equivalent
n
Strong knowledge of Australian Safety Standards relevant to fall protection systems
n




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in guardrail installation
n
A current driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
Strong health and safety awareness and a proven track record of safe work practices
n
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
n
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights in various weather conditions
n
Holds a construction industry White Card or similar induction certification
n
Experience with scaffold systems or related trades is advantageous
n
