THE ROLE
Our client, a Queensland State Government agency, is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to join a large-scale ICT program that is central to child safeguarding reform across the state. This is a contract opportunity based in Queensland, supporting a program with a committed go-live timeline and significant public purpose behind it. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will own schedule management across multiple concurrent projects — keeping the program on track, dependencies visible, and leadership well-informed.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Develop and implement a schedule management plan covering quality standards and schedule governance processes
Partner with Project Managers to build and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis and milestone identification
Liaise regularly with Program Managers, Business Analysts, technical resources, vendors,



and external government agencies to manage cross-project dependencies
Evaluate schedule progress and performance, identify emerging risks and issues, and elevate concerns proactively
Develop and maintain Dependency Registers across the program portfolio
Apply the DCMA 14-point schedule assessment to ensure schedule integrity and rigour
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Professional in a complex program environment
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain schedules under strong governance frameworks
Proven experience with Prince2, Agile, or Hybrid delivery methodologies in a large organisation
Ability to coordinate people, resources, and timelines with minimal direction
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical, business, and executive audiences
Commitment to workplace equity, diversity, and inclusion
NICE TO HAVE
Tertiary education or formal study in Project Management
PMP and/or PMBOK accreditation
Prince2 certification
Agile and/or Scaled Agile Framework (Protected) certification
