Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative – Corporate Services now has the following vacancy: People & Culture Officer (New Position) Full-time, 38 hours a week This is an Aboriginal Designated Position, classified under 'special measures' of Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act ****. About the Role
n
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination of the end-to-end recruitment cycle, general administration, providing timely assistance to our internal stakeholders and assisting the People and Culture team with key initiatives.
About You n
n
You are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
n
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar or working towards the qualification.
n
Highly developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook; knowledge of CHRIS21 is a plus.
n
Demonstrated ability to understand awards, employment, OH&S; legislation, Human Resources functions, guidelines and policies.
n
Demonstrated experience in writing and creating job advertisements, interview and selection process.
n
Professional, ethical and reliability with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
n
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
n
Demonstrated ability maintaining confidentiality.
n
Experience in working in an Aboriginal organisation and/ or knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.
n
