The opportunity

Step into command from day one. As a Direct Entry Captain, you’ll operate the B1900D across a scheduled freight network, making secure, time-critical decisions in agile environments. This position is for pilots who are self-reliant, disciplined, and already type-rated—there is no training pathway or development track associated with this role.

What you’ll do
Command single-pilot IFR freight operations on the Beechcraft 1900D within a structured schedule.
Uphold company SOPs and regulatory compliance while ensuring on-time, safe, and professional operations.
Exercise sound judgement and risk management in variable weather and time-sensitive scenarios.
Maintain operational currency and readiness without dependency on pathway training.

What you’ll bring
Licences/Medical: CPL(A) with current Command Instrument Rating; current Class 1 Medical.
Type/Experience: Beechcraft 1900D command experience; substantial single-pilot, multi-engine, pressurised, turbine time.
Currency:



Operationally current and self-reliant; ready to step into line operations.
Decision-making: Strong judgement in dynamic, time-critical environments; professional and disciplined approach.
Network experience: Background in structured or scheduled operations.
Safety: Demonstrated commitment to protected operations and sound risk management.
Security/Compliance: Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC; compliance with the Company’s Fitness for Work Policy, including random and at-cause drug and alcohol screening; willing to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment.
Work rights: Right to live and work full time in Australia.

Roster & lifestyle
Rostered periods operating away from the Brisbane base.
Overnight stays as required by the schedule.
