We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will create a wide range of authentic, flavourful Indian dishes.

Qualifications & Experience
n
n
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (minimum requirement)
n
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Chef
n
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
n
In-depth understanding of food preparation, produce, and quality standards
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
n




Cook meals to order with accurate timing to maintain freshness and optimal serving temperature
n
Uphold high standards of flavour, texture, and visual presentation
n
Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients while maintaining authenticity
n
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
n
Manage kitchen inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimising waste
n
Lead, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and effective kitchen environment
n
Keep accurate records of stock levels, equipment maintenance, and kitchen operations
n
Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of kitchen processes, systems, and service standards
n
